Clay’s Hope is masterfully written as a companion to Hope(less) (from The Judgement of Six series). Written from Clay’s POV, this book is almost a different story. Layered with Clay’s thoughts and emotions, we finally get to see what is hidden since he doesn’t actually speak to Gabby until the very end of the book.
It is such an enjoyable read, and it flows beautifully. Haag expertly weaves this story into the Hope(less) storyline, yet never feels repetitive. As the story unfolds, we see that Clay has a beautiful heart, a pure love, and the patience of a saint. He is an absolutely loveable character and absolutely swoon-worthy.
This is an endearing story, and Haag is an amazing storyteller. Definitely 5 stars.
