‘If Not Me Then Who?’ author Kwame Osei is in the Spotlight

Kwame Osei is a man who wears many different hats: high school Physical Education and Sports Psychology teacher; athlete and now children’s book author.
Toronto-raised, Ghanian-born Osei calls Alberta home, but his ties are still with the t-dot. In fact, he will be showcasing his book If Not Me Then Who: The Tale of the Little Eagle at the Toronto Urban Book Expo (TUBE)on February 28 at the Malvern Library in Scarborough. For Osei, TUBE appeals to writers because it allows them to get more exposure.

Osei’s path was set for a career as a professional football player. After a few setbacks, Osei reassessed his life and turned the negatives into positives. He started delivering motivational speeches to high school students. He talked about life in the allegorical sense and incorporating animal imagery into many of his stories.
