At the end of the school year in 2013, I was introduced to the SYNC YA Audiobook program by the librarian at the middle school where I teach.
What is the SYNC YA Audiobook program, you ask? Well, according to their website:
SYNC is a free summer audiobook program for young adults. SYNC gives away two complete audiobook downloads a week – a current young adult title along with a thematically paired classic or required summer reading title.
I was pretty excited about it, even though I’m not a “young adult.” Unfortunately, I only remembered to download a couple of titles that summer. I had them saved on my iPhone, not my computer, so I had no way of transferring the files to keep them for listening later. Since my phone had limited storage, I wound up deleting a few titles before I actually had the chance to listen to them.
